Strawberry Scones

1 cup all purpose flour
2 Tbsp. sugar
3 tsp. baking powder
pinch of salt
3 Tbsp. cold unsalted butter
1 egg
1/4 cup half & half
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 cup diced Aloe strawberries

Preheat oven to 425F. Sift together the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Cut in the butter until it is incorporated into the flour and chunks are no larger than the size of a pea. In a separate bowl, whisk together the half and half, egg and vanilla. Make a well in the center of the flour and pour the egg mixture on top. Stir to combine. The dough will be very sticky. Gently fold in the strawberries. Dump the dough on to a floured surface and knead a few times, don’t overwork the dough! Pat the dough out until 1/2″ thick. Cut the scones out and bake for 15 minutes or until golden. Serve warm with Bee Naked honey in the raw!
