Tomatoes need no introduction. They are the most popular, easily recognizable vegetable in the world. Never refrigerate tomatoes unless they are overly ripe. They will lose much of their flavor. We grow several different varieties on the farm. We grow heirloom tomatoes, cherry tomatoes and roma tomatoes.
Heirloom Tomatoes: come in a variety of gorgeous colors. They usually grow in various shapes and sizes and have a deep, distinct flavor. They are so delicious that they require little more than a thick slice, a dash of sea salt and a plate to shine.
Roma Tomatoes: also called plum tomatoes, commonly used for canning or tomato paste because of their slender, firm texture.
Cherry Mix Tomatoes: our favorite snacking tomato. These little orbs are small in size with a burst of flavor. Halve them and add to salads or keep in a bowl in the kitchen to snack at will.
