Mizuna is a member of the mustard family, native to Japan. Mizuna’s taste is peppery like arugula and slightly bitter like frisee. Mizuna can be eaten raw or wilted and incorporated in stir-fries or simmered and added to dishes. With its crisp stalks and deeply serrated leaves, mizuna is a wonderful addition to salads and a great substitute for frisee.
